We did our first trip to Disneyland this week! It was so fun! I was actually surprised by the number of rides that an 11 month old could go on. She had a blast! It seemed that of all the rides we went on she especially seemed to like the Small world. The singing dolls and lights had her full attention! I have some fun pics and videos that I will post when I get back home.
By the way Disneyland in January is fabulous if you hate to wait in line. The place is a ghost town! We didn't wait in line for more than five minutes on any ride! The temp is mildly cool (65-70 degrees) if you wear a light sweat shirt you are more than comfortable.

Warning!!! Potentially Hazardous Lunch!!
"Hi, I would Like to Order my 11 month old the RAW chicken Fingers, please???"
So we are having lunch today at Ruby's in Southern California and I order Aubi the kids chicken fingers and I guess the server thought I said give me the kids toxic salmonella special! They bring the food and at a glance everything looks fine. The chicken fingers look perfectly crispy on the outside and they are piping hot! But as I am breaking them up into small pieces I notice they are completely raw inside! Not just a little pink and questionable, I am talking straight off the chopping block raw!!!! I was horrified! As this seriously could of had terrifyingly bad consequences had I not been paying attention.
This totally served as a SCARY reminder that people are sometimes idiots and not always following the proper safety procedures when handling our food or our children's. When eating out take an extra second and look at what your little one is about to put in their mouth!!!!

Puppa and me
Aubi's Best Friend Puff! He's so patient and takes a lot of abuse from Aubi. He's so gentle and loving. When Aubi crys he lays next to her and whines and howls like a hounds.

We still working on not poking out eyes.
Two weeks old and best friends already
Aubi's First Christmas!!!

This was the most special christmas to date. Its a weird transformation from being the child at christmas to being the parent at christmas. She is going to be kinda sad when I take down the christmas things. We have some really cute musical toys that she has made a habit of playing with every day. She knows where te the buttons are on both toys to make them play. She presses the button and will bounce and dance about. Its the cutest thing ever. I took some video of it I will have to figure out how to post it on here.
I got to say I was a little bit surprized at how terrified she was of Santa. We tried to get a pic of her on his lap and she was not going do it with a smile. She was screaming and crying throwing a fit. It was so funny cuz she didn't even want to make eye contact with him. She would look over her shoulder for a quick peek then she would quickly look away and cry. It was sad. I even tried to get in the picture and hold her to see if she would calm down, but no. Oh well.. I mean can you really blame her? The guy is a bit scary looking. Better luck next year!!!

Growing up in Hyper Speed
Ok So I know its been MONTHS since I have updated my page! There is so much to write about that I don't know where to start! Since the last time I wrote my darling daughter has grown so much! She is Walking... No I take that back she is Running!!!! She is a officially a cruiser. She took her first steps a couple days before Thanksgiving, and now she is speedy Gonzalas!
I feel like she is growing up in hyper speed. Its so cute she waves, claps, and dances to music. The girl has got some moves!! :) She says a few words in the sweetest voice so far we got mum, dad,hi, hey and in the past two weeks we added the words puppa which is our dog and bear but no r. She says Bear every morning and points to the the crib musical toy on her crib with the spinning little bears. Its so dang cute.
She is so friendly its unbelievable. Everyone she sees she waves at and says hi or hey. We were in elevator in California a month ago or so and it was just us and some guy. This guy was just minding his own business not even making eye contact with us. She kept waving and saying hi, hi, hi, and he was just ignoring us. Well it was a long ride to the top and finally he looked up and said hi. It was so cute cuz her face lit up and you could tell she was so happy that he acknowledged her. She is very persistant and determined to get what she wants. Which is a blessing and a curse. But she is a sweet sweet sweet little one and I cherish every day we spend growing up together.
